Full Throttle Youth Ministries

Full Throttle Youth Ministries meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM for Time-Out. Time-Out meets in the Youth Room on the 3rd floor. All students from the 7th-12th grades are invited to join us for Bible study, worship, prayer, and fellowship. Full Throttle is also involved in WBC's Sunday School, which is at 9:00 every Sunday morning. On Sunday evenings at 5:00, we have our Walk Thru the Bible Study. This study goes through the main themes of God's Word, and is designed to help answer any questions people may have on the Bible.

We also worked with the Operation Noah project in New Orleans, LA. From July 27-August 2, students in Full Throttle went and helped rebuild houses damaged by Hurricane Katrina as part of our Acts 1:8 mission this summer. This mission also includes doing Backyard Bible Clubs throughout Opp, having a prayer lock-in for Westview's partnership with South Africa, assisting in WBC's Vacation Bible School, and more.

Our Full Throttle Youth Ministry (11th grade thru College) will be going on their first ever international mission trip to Jamaica in June 2009.

There are several ministries that make up Full Throttle. The Leadership Team is made up of upper-grade students who helps get our Student Ministry going in the right direction. Our praise team is currently practicing with an acoustic guitar, with hopes of creating a praise band soon. The 911 Prayer Ministry meets 15 minutes before every Time-Out service. This ministry prays over the service and prayer requests submitted at the youth table next to the Youth Room. One of our newest ministries, the Girls Ministry, is now up and running.
